A Photographer at Work is a book of stories behind sessions of landscape photography.

My good friend Eddie Ephraums, publisher, designer and all-round photographic guru, accompanied me on a number of shoots over a four year period, documenting the process in pictures, and recording his own thoughts and ideas about the way I work.

Although we had not anticipated this at the beginning of that four year period, it proved to be a momentous time for me, in which I made a transition as a working photographer from large format film to medium format digital (still using a technical camera).

It proved a unique stage when I found myself 'going with the flow' of the technology, and adapting my approach to new tools and new opportunities.

Eddie and I subsequently developed the accompanying text to produce something that we hope will stimulate, challenge and inspire any photographers on a path of improvement, renewal and self-discovery."
